As you may or may not know, the new director of Mission Impossible: 3 is Lost's J. J. Abrams. Sure the film still stars Tom Cruise and Ving Rhames, but the better news are the other people who have signed on to, more than likely, work with J. J..

Philip Seymour Hoffman (My Boyfriend's Back)
Laurence Fishburn (Pee-Wee's Playhouse)
Billy Crudup (Princess Mononoke)

... to name a few... but they just signed somebody else to be even MORE excited about... SIMON PEGG! That's right, ladies and gents... our hero of SHAUN OF THE DEAD will be in MI:3!

Oh yeah... Effective January 31st, 2006, the first THREE SEASONS OF THE X-FILES will drop in price to about $34.99 a season. That's a nice $70 discount for people like me who waited so patiently for YEARS for it to come down in price. And it's a big smack in the face to you suckers that already got it. The only difference between the sets will be that the new, cheaper ones will be in the thin slipcases instead of the big boxy boxes.
