Here's a bit of gossip I heard just the other day while I munched at the Baja Fresh on Hollywood and Vine with a friend from WMA's mailroom/dungeon. It seems the high mucky-mucks at Paramount are in negotiations with Drew Barrymore and Ben Affleck to star in an updated film version of the Dick Van Dyke tour de force "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" which Drew's production company bought the rights to last year. The two chums are elated over the chance to work together and Bennifer is especially torqued to show the world his singing and dancing chops. Look for a late October 2007 release.
